The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program was announced on 21 October 2020. There were applicants selected from four skilled worker immigration subcategories in the latest draw, and there was also a selection from the two entrepreneur program categories. Out of these 100, 80 invitations were sent in the Express Entry BC (EEBC), and Skills Immigration streams, and the selected applicants were in skilled worker and International Graduate categories. The remaining 20 applicants were selected from the B.C.’s Entrepreneur Immigration program. Of these 20 applicants as well, 15 were from Entrepreneur Immigration Base Category, and five were from the Entrepreneur Immigration Regional Pilot. The score requirement for the base category was 122 points, and the regional category was 109.

B.C. conducts regular draws in different PNP categories and streams. On 29 September the largest PNP draw was conducted, and 450 PNP applicants were selected. The applicants selected in the provincial Nominee program are eligible for 600 additional points in the federal comprehensive ranking system (CRS) score category.
