It is the 27th Express Entry draw in which 600 candidates are shortlisted. The score requirement was 771 CRS points. It was the highest-scoring draw of year and the third draw this month. With the increased frequency of the draw this month, it could be speculated that slowly and steadily the Canada immigration is getting back on track.
On 19th August 2020, the 160th express entry draw of Canada was heled in which 600 invitations were sent to the applicants with the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores of 771. It means that all the candidates who secured 771 points are eligible to apply for permanent residency in Canada. The Invitations came with the stipulation that the applicant should have a provincial nomination to be selected in the draw. It is one of the high scorings draws of Canada Express entry this year. This could be a large number of applications and a shorter duration between the draws.
Important aspects of the draw-
This was the third round of draw in the month of August. The previous two draws were held on 5th And 6th August. On 5th August, an all program draw was released in which 3900 ITAs were issued with the minimum CRS score requirement of 415. Then just with a one day gap, the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), specific draw was released on 6th August in which 250 candidates made the cut.

Tt a record of its own; hence, it can be argued that despite the coronavirus crises, the immigration process has not slowed down.
The IRCC applies the tie-break rule to all its draws, which was applied from 24th July 2020, at 11:29:33 UTC. It means all those applicants who have score 771 Points in the CRS ranking and have submitted their profile on or before the set date and time they are eligible for immigration. The tie break rule is the best way to rank the applicants with the same CRS score. Meeting the CRS score is one of the prime requirements for Canada immigration.
While a job offer is not mandatory for Canada immigration through Express Entry. It helps the case if the applicant has a job offer in hand.
